Exhaust question
Exhaust question alright well today i stopped in the local muffler shop to see how much it would be to get a new 3'' pipe from my cat to my muffler, and they said $110 installed... i was just wondering if there was anywhere on the net that sold this for cheaper, cuz i can weld it on myself, and i also planned on getting a new 3'' in muffler, but they said that they sell a flowmaster knock-off for $80 that i could get as well... and i just dont feel like payin that much basically for installation...
anyone know where to find any of this?

for 110 installed thats cheap, but i bet its not manderal bends and the knock off will either sound like *** or will rust out in a year if its a quick fix sure, but you get what you pay for. Your sig says hooker cat back can you not reuse that
well i could reuse it... but its 2.5'' in and i figured that i wouldnt be able to tell a difference hardly at all with having the inlet muffler being the diameter that i am trying to get away from.... basically i am trying to get rid of the raspiness that comes in at about 3000 rpms...
well what i am thinking what was done with my car was that the person before me that owned the car... or maybe before him... just bought an aftermarket muffler to match the stock 2.5'' piping and ran new pipe to the tips.... because its welded at the back of the muffler, but clamped past it...

If it's mandral bent do it, but if it's that ribbed crap, pass on it. Summit and Jegs usually have kits with 90º, 45º and U-bend tubes you can buy. Never checked the prices though,
