I was wondering if anyone has used that cam. I have never seen a cam on a 113 lsa before. I was also wondering the quality of the idle of it. It seems to be somewhere in between a 503 and a 306.

I know someone with that cam and they made nice numbers. I think theres a sound clip of the 230/236 on lt1engine.com. Im sure it sounds pretty good maybe not as nice as the 503 or 306 because of the lsa. Keep in mind your gonna wanna shift that cam upwards of 6600-6800 for the best performance.
I've got the 280XFI and am happy with it. Made 371 rwhp and 351 rqtq, the dyno operator was stopping at 6000 rpm and the graph still showed HP rising. I didn't notice untill my third run. I'm installing 30lbs injectors this winter and will retry dyno with more RPM. Search on the XFI topic and there are several mixed opinions about it.
Some like it, others say go with custom grind, I like it for an off the shelf cam. Sounds and drives great.

I think im just going to stick with a 503 and play around with that until I can build a 355. My car has 96k on it and I dont knwo how much more the bottom end can hold up so im just gona run cam only for a while.
