Default 218 / 224 XFI Cam?

Hey guys for the first time today, I saw this new XFI cam. Its specs are

218 / 224
.570 / .565 on 1.6s
113 LSA

Well Im about to cam my car and Im looking for a smaller duration cam so it caught my attention (Im still going with bret Bauer, this cam just seemed piqued my curiosity). It seems to have a ton of lift for an off the shelf cam with that little duration, and Id really consider it, if it wasnt for the grand canyon sized LSA.

So what do you guys think about this cam, anyone have any experience?

You know you can order that cam at whatever LSA you want right? BTW, these are indicative of the XFI lobes... much better lift numbers than the XE cams. What setup are you going to run (so we can judge whether this cam will be good for you).

i had ran the 218/224 earlier model cam at one time. (it wasnt the xfi and had lower lift.) it was still a great cam. i was looking for a little more power and swapped for the 230/236 comp xfi. both seem to be good. the 230/236 picked my 8th mile e.t. up by .15, which i was pleased with. i'd recomend either and suspect the new 218/224 xfi to be a little better than my old one.

Looks like it would be a killer DD street/strip cam if you got it on a 110 LSA and had ported heads Must be a stump puller!

Man Id want that thing ground on a 106. haha

I plan on running a Bret Bauer Cam but I may consider one of these new XFI cams if I can get it on a tighter LSA and get you guys some numbers and results. I wouldnt mind kinda being the guenia pig. haha

I meant to ask, Arent the XFI lopes notorious for being hard to control because of their fast ramp rates.

What would be a good spring to control these? Would the LS7 lifters be okay with those lobes?
