hmm...madz28 can still tune it again and he does great work...if the sending unit is new then the reading is probabaly correct...more than 15 psi at idle is fine as long as it doesnt get lower and lower and its constant

I got the same exact top end as you I think you need to idle it up in this cool weather. I think it needs to be right in between 900-1000 rpm thats how I like mine and my oil pressure never drops below 20 psi at idle if I keep it like that. Just idle it up and see what happens get back to me. All you need is a tiny flat head.

Dood I FEEL YOUR SORROWS!!!!

Took me a year to get the motivation to bolt on my turbo kit... then i didn't have a tune or injectors... finally got that and didn't have insurance or current tags. i said F' it and drove it a lil (about 30 miles) and blew the headgasket and overheated it....

Fixed the head gasket then it would get hot. Went to bleed the coolant system better (jacked front of car way way in the air) and when i started it, the thing sounded like it was going to come apart. Rocker arm fell off.

After the rocker arm fell off it had a miss. Got the miss figured out and now a few days later its making another funny intermittent noise at idle... it never ends man. This is a hobby that will seriously test your patience. Im running out fast.

This weekend I will be tearing the turbo kit off again and doing everything in my power to makesure it dont miss anymore and there is no exhaust leaks this time. Unfortunatly I can;t go drive it because of all the snow on the damn ground. Its killin me.

So at least you know your not the only one!! Forced Induction is a PITA!!!!

Geez. Idle on start up for me is normally around 5-6 psi and it has always been that way (right above the red mark) when I read up on GM's tech book that is how it's supposed to be, but increases with rpm. Don't give up. I have and my car has pretty much sat for a year and 1/2! Now I'm aching to drive that noisy POS.

naw, i got the real thing, Forged 355 LT4!!!!! lol, well i really think my tensioner needs to be replaced, ima run 20W-50 oil when i get the chance and i need a tranny rebuild...BADLY! its starting to clunk, however. Im hoping this POS doesnt start a knock.

P.S: Is there a difference between slight knock and a knock? Cause i've been told, "if its knocking, it aint drivable" and i sure as heck and get on it and MOOV!

Whats a belt tensioner run?
