I know of a guy that used a NW 90mm LS1 TB, and turned it upside down. Throttle cables and everything worked/fit fine, and had no tip-in issue. Cant think of his name right off.

Well looks like an Accufab 105mm and Intake Elbows elbow will be on the way tommorow. I might try and take a nice 4 barrel TB to the dyno and see if there is a power difference.

You have any distribution problems on the spray with that single nozzle system? How high(HP) does that system go?

Where did the manual brake package come from and how much was it?

I have not used any spray yet.I plan to try it next year.It is just a 150 Harris wet kit.

I bought the master cylinder from jegs it was like $200 or something like that.

I think most are using a Mopar Style master cylinder, Burkhart Chassis make a kit as well and it looked resonably priced and came with a proportioning valve as well.

I think most of the gains are over 6500rpm, below that I think most lose about 10hp.

theirs an article in the new hotrod mag. on ported intakes. they tested three diff. intakes on a carb.'d sbc. although they picked up between 40-60 cfm, all lost power below 5000 rpms. most only made equal h/p at 6000 rpms and only had small gains above 6000rpms. although the different intakes had different h/p results. i am curious on how it would effect an efi engine (especially an lt1).

yeah I have wondered that as well. The runner legths and such would certainly have the same effects, but things like wet flow would be non-issues on the EFI models. I think in gerneral you could get just a little more power out of the EFI style as you don't need a restriction to create the signal for the carb. So you could in effect get a higher pressure in the plenum.

I haven't seen anyone do any testing on EFI single planes to compare power differences. I haven't seen anyone do an Elbow vs 4 hole test to see what the differences would be.
