Driver side brake light dim!!!!Help

Default Driver side brake light dim!!!!Help

I have a 1997 CamaroZ28 and the driver side brake light still works but is very dim I'm pretty sure some of ya'll know what I'm talking about I see it mainly on TA's if anyone knows how to fix this please let me know.

The ground connection inside the socket (bulb holder) is probably bad, you can buy new sockets (around $15 each) or if you are patient you can carefully cut the socket open where the ground wire goes in , take the connection apart and clean the corrosion out. The wire and connector will slide back in and lock if you cut it apart correctly. I sealed mine up with some dielecric grease and the have worked great for over 3 years.

Cool

Clean the metal connectors inside the socket, or replace it.
