Yank and vig are both a better stall. The TCI is a cheaper stall that will seem a little looser on the street and dyno. If the TCI one fits your budget give it a try. I had a low end stall in my car for about 3-4 years without any problems.

I would save a lttle more and get a vig, edge, or yank. I've seen 3 TCI's locally come apart and ruin 4L60E's.

Just find a used Yank or Vig converter in the for sale section so then you have a high quality converter for cheap.

If you can spend the little extra, buy a new Vig. or Yank. Had both, and l think both are top notch. Went with the Yank SS3600 lately and it's great. Buy new, so that you aren't one of the unlucky ones that buys a used converter out of a trashed trans. Then you won't have to worry about debris floating around in your trans.

I wouldnt let $200 stop you from buying the best. A converter isn't something that you want to cheap out on plus I've heard my share of complaints from TCI.
