Default LT1 3rd gen project

got a 93 lt1 with about 70,000 miles on it. It's going into my 85TA. Already has a bbk 58mm throttle body,AFPR,underdrive pulley, shorty headers w/custom y-pipe and gutted cat. with custom chip of course, and 3200 stall.

looking for a cam to go in it. Thinking of either the cc 305 or 503. I've searched the site and still can't decide on what to get. Any suggestions? looking to run mid to low 12's.

depends how high your willing to spin the stock short block up to and what you want out of the car. Your gonna need to ditch those shortys and custom y with gutted cat for some lt's and ory if you want the most out of it. With suspension and radials you can hit low to mid 12's with either cam if the car runs good but again all depends on what you want out of the car there are a few other good cam choices too.

I put the 503 in mine. Are you porting the heads or leaving them stock? Third gens are a little lighter so with some suspension work you should see 12's. It has been done on stock camed motor though.
