mileage question.. Greetings! So im looking at a 94 z28 for a good dd and it has 149,000 miles on it for about $3,800.(M6) It's bone stock except for a k&n cai. Is this too many miles..? All i plan on doing is mild mods, (exhaust, maybe other boltons, but you know how addictive modding is), and i dont know if this motor is uhh, "too worn in". Can anyone help me here with personal info, or guesses? Oh, and what is a good exhaust on a budget for these? (Obviously discluding GMMG and Borla, i'm talking 500 or down). 
i think u should be ok, if you dont hear any strange noises or see any blue/white smoke on start up. common problems with that many miles is ingition, generally the opti. do typical maint. things to the car once you get it. plugs, wires, coil, opti, fuel filter, water pump, etc...and the car should treat you rather well. does the car come with any records of things that have been done to the car already? bolt ons with the lt1 show rather nice gains. pacesetter longtube headers, ory, and magnaflow catback would be a great budget exhuast setup. id also talk the guy down 4-500, then buy the catback with the money you saved 
my car is def. a work in progess, and nowhere near to where i want it, but it works rather well considering what ive done. if you do get the car, and hang around this forum, you will learn fast about the lt-1. goodluck.
