Need Help vig2800 causing Problems This is for a friend of mine , he has a 1995 Z28 he purchased a brand new Vig, installed it and now sometimes the converter will not lockup on highway, stays reving at about 3200 rpm @ 70 mph now mind you this is a 273 geared car. Tried it in Drive and overdrive sometimes just doest lock. Also when he does a burnout to heat the tires sometimes it will not shift out of first , sometimes second, then goes into somekind of limp mode, let the car sit for 15 min and then it resets and car will shift fine. Now it doesnt do this all the time but its a pain in the A$$ , and only started doing this when the converter was put in, Any help would be nice . Thanks Guys. PS this car has 80,000miles on it with slp headers, pulley,borla exhaust, the car is slower in the 1/4 with this converter and is only pulling 1.90s short times lost 3 mph. Car hooks at track with Nitto drags but the short time still sucks.

Re: Need Help vig2800 causing Problems What would you have to tune , this just started after vig was installed. Only thing I can think of is maybe shift points, and line presure. But cant really see what that might fix. Anyone.
