Measure your thread size, duh. Some only work with one, but most work with multiple sizes. They come with inserts to downsize them to the correct threading. They say what they come with/fit.

nah dude

assuming the shifter is the correct one for your car, just order a t-handle that is for your car and the hurst will have the same threads as stock. you could put your stock ball on there if you wanted.

Got a micrometer? That'll tell you the width and if it's Std or Metric.

should be the stock size. just say you need a t-handle for a 94 z28. the shifters are usually mde to accept the regular threads, so where ever u buy it from should know.

Good news and bad news...... well mostly bad.

I don't think either Hurst or B&M offer a T handle in the thread size needed. They have all always been too small. Seems the stick is 16mmX1.5.

Good news is out there is the tools to make it happen.
The stick is really large in these cars if you think about it, which is nice as I haven't seen any fbody sticks cracked in half, while a few of my Honda buddies have snapped their sticks in the middle of a drag race.

Bad news is I don't remember what you need drill bit/tap wise. Went out to the garage and well the tools aren't there. Bunch of my stuff is out in CA seems so are those tools.
I know I got the drill bit at a NAPA in PA and the tap at a specialty hardware store in CA. Should be able to figure it out though with the stick size. If a stock ball fits on there properly than it is the same size.

I've had a t handle in all 3 of my cars so far, and I'm going to have one in every vehicle if possible. I really like B&M t handles.

Also using a short stick, with your arm on the center console your hand lands flat on the t handle.

Actuall there is good news. I have a B&M T-handle and it is the most comfortable shifter I've ever had in my life. They do make them in the larger size I just ordered mine a few years ago from a local speed shop.

There should be a part number on your T-Handles (or I'd assume underneath). If any of you with one, wanted to check and post it for him, that'd probably make things easier

Well like I said, I drilled and tapped mine out. I didn't try to search online for one very hard, I just tried all of the available sizes in the stores, and they all were too small. So I probably went the really hard route and I joke that I have a $90 T-Handle.
