If you can find parts it isnt hard to swap to M6. But, if you are not attached to your current car, buying an M6 is more cost effective.

depends how good you are with doin that kind of work, if u have the tools and help available, and how much money you have invested in your current car. Thats what i would base my decision on. Also how much time do you have? This thing gonna go to the track eventually? If yes i suggest keeping it automatic.

If you do the labor yourself you can swap in an M6 for much less than the cost of buying another car.

iv got everything but the harness and the tranny itself, and so far iv spent about 500. im leaning towards buying an M6 and just selling mine afterwards. the only thing is i cant seem to find anybody w/a descent m6 for 4000. and by descent i mean running, and not wrecked

if u buy another car u don't always no exactly what u r getting. If you know your car well and it is in good shape i would just do the swap. I honestly don't trust most shops with my car, too many horror stories. As for the price i really don't know, but i am assuming they are accounting for it to take 10 hours. Does that sound about right for a tranny swap? If yes well then i guess it's a good price.
