Default New 383 LT1 Issues... possible vacuum issues?

My '95 T/A was recently outfitted with a H/C/Procharged LT1 383.

Now, at low speeds braking does not seem to happen. I believe the culprit is the vacuum pressure.. at low speeds the brakes barely have enough strength to hold the car still, she has not yet been tuned(near future) and is idling a little rough so driving has been light, but I want to see if I it's possible to get this problem figured out before I tune it(perhaps the tune could fix it?). I have been told that a "vacuum bottle" could perhaps fix the problem, what does that entail exactly? I have not been able to find much on search.

Now, could a potential vacuum leak or lack of pressure have effect on the amount of boost my engine is getting? My Autometer gauge is only reading 6 PSI when it should be boosting near 10#. Could the above problem be related? I did have some problems with the gauge earlier but it seems to be fixed.. I want to make sure the car boosting as it should before I go in and tune it. The blower is a P600B rebuilt with a smaller pulley to increase output, rebuilt right before this application.

Any suggestions/ideas are welcome! These problems have been stumping me, want to get this car running right for a change! If any other information would help, feel free to ask.

Thanks, in advance.
