WOW, that's a smokin 4th gen!

It's obviously an LT1 block as you've used the opti block off plate. BUT, I've never seen before a SB intake on LT1 heads that uses the water inlet/thermostat housing. What's going on here?? Have you managed to use SB heads on the LT1 block?

These are a very old set of AFR RR heads. They have the standard SB bolt patterns for the intake. They also have the larger Stahl exhaust pattern.

Did you have any problems with the Hedman Hedders (65387) ? I got them on my car with angle plug heads and the tube off of #1 was in the way as far as getting the #3 plug in. They fit the chassis nicely. I don't even have to raise the motor to get them in.

Yeah, but in the mock-up stage I noticed it and had #1 & 3 primary reworked.

And they said noone has had a problem with them. I would like to change the primary on #3 to but right know I may have to live with it burning the boot. I'll just have to see what I can get away with. The #1 tube is getting made tommorrow.

If I was to use the adapter things would have been okay

Hey Stroked can you give me some info on the radiator that you are using.... and the fan that is attached to it???? Reason I ask is because sometime in the near future to make room and to clean up my engine bay i'm going to do the cut in the front side to side framerail and weld a tube in it's place that you did so i can stand my radiator straight up and down instead of the laid back position that it's in now..... I just was wondering what dimensions of radiator you used and who made it......

Did you get rid of the reverse cooling as well????? Cause I didn't see the return line from the back of the heads to the radiator cap.....

I had the radiator made. Meziere did the radiator/fan/shroud/ and water pump. I called them told them what kinda room I had and the type of motor/power. They did the rest. EXCELLENT turn around service; they kept in touch with me the entire time they had it.

It's standard LT cooling; there is a line going from rear of heads to Radiator.

I got mine from Billingsley, but they are no longer around. You can get the same thing from MADMAN Racing or Burkhart
