differences in ss motors?

differences in ss motors? i found a ss out of a 97 ss. the guy has another motor with headers on it that he will sell for the same price. but i would like to get the one out of the ss if it is better. i will probably be doing the cc503 cam or the lt4 hotcam kit. the car will be a nitrous car in a 67 camaro. i am hoping for mid-low 12's on motor (any suggestions?). here are a couple pics of the car it will be going in. thanks in advance for the help.
