full bolt on lt1
I would say if you have a good driver, good tires, nice track prep, and good weather you should be able to get close to 12.8 depending on vehicle weight, faster with weight reduction and slower with added weight like amps and subs...
On average you will probably be closer to 13.0 at full weight, take some weight out of it and you will be in the 12's consistantly.
I had basic weight reduction, !spare tire, !rear seats, and etc. and all the same power mods that I have now and was running 12.50's in the summer heat. I pulled more weight and got a few suspension pieces and am now in the 12.0 range still in the summer heat. Some good weather and some more weight reduction should get me closer to Shon's record, but I need more gearing to completely crush it, we'll see what I can do when the weather gets better, and if money comes around for me...
I know he sent me an email a few days ago talking about all the work he had, so he might just be backed up a little. If you are having trouble reaching him let me know and I will see what I can do to help. I was planning on stopping by his place in the next week or so to ask him if he has a few large stickers to put on the trailer for the shootout...
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
the M29 came with a 2.97 first gear and a 3.23 rear...
the newer MM6 tranny's came with the 2.66 first gear and either the 3.23 or the 3.42 rear end..
but i still think its only going to be mid to low 13's if he can drive the car

!AIR, thats all it has done to it. I did almost ALL of the work to it thats how I know!
My A4 car with just CAI, 3.42 gears, LTs, ORY, 2OTL, and tune on street tires went 1.5 sec faster than stock. 3.42 and 26'' tall tires is a pretty good combo. With a stall, some DRs, and a little more work it will easily be much faster. For a m6 I would probably go 3.73s with 26'' tall tires (275/40.. 315/35)
Mine is a DD with the only weight reduction being !spare (can't use it anyways due to 315s and 17s), !AIR, !EGR. Still a full weight with stereo street car. No problems beating light modded LS1s, modded GTs, etc.
LT1s are good DDs. For speed, buy a bike!
