Clean Valves

Whats the best way to clean old valves once they are out of the heads? Is there something u can let them soak in.

I used some GM injector cleaner...let them soak then brushed them right off....I also did a few in my parts washer w/ mineral spirits...

I saw a guy at the machine shop sand blast them, then they looked brand new.

When I had mine out, I sandblasted EVERYTHING. Intake, heads, valves, various brackets, etc. It looked great, but just make sure you clean out really good, otherwise it'll bite you in the *** and you'll spend a grand buying new parts and still wondering why your car won't start.
