Can this be, bad tranny = car runs like crap???? I recently swapped out my tranny/conv and now my car idles, starts, and runs a lot better than before when the tranny was slipping. Before my car would take about 5-10 min for it to idle on its own and a few cranks to turn on. Now the car starts up instantly and idles at 1K without any problems at all. I've driven the car down the street a few times and it doesnt miss like it did before. I was about ready to start tearing the ignition apart to chase down the miss, now it just magically dissappeared with the new tranny. Im just venting so dont mind if it sounds stupid

Damn, I always noticed the car missing/bogging on the low end just crusing around 30-40mph. I know my 2nd/3rd gear were out and the trans was going from 1st-4th. I honestly didnt think it would still drive, but I put about 50 hard miles on it after it blew the 2nd/3rd gear. Oh well, I hope that was the problem.
No prob Tony, tranny feels good too! I'm trying to get the fuel system on and make sure I dont have any ignition problems then make some shakedown passes then possibly strap on the bottle.
