Default 12 bolt or 9IN"

I need to put a 12 bolt or a 9" in my camaro which on should I chose and what gear for a six speed?

Fab up an 8.8". Its quiet, light, and will take all u can throw at it.

Looking at the mods you have........

The 12 bolt is good at least to 600HP. It's 25 pounds lighter than the Dana S60, 10 pounds lighter than the 9 inch. You can get it with the ABS sensor. It has a better pinion angle so less power is lost to heat, like 5 percent.

I’ll say you’re best bet would be the 12 bolt. For a everyday stick car, 3.73. Maybe 4.11.

Call or E-Mail Eric at Midwest Chassis. Custom Fabbed 9" W/ 3 channel abs for an unbeatable price! He claims almost the same weight of the 10 bolt. (lighter than S60)

I have a 9" and it is great for the track, but on the street it can be hell once in a while, I do have a detroit locker though. If you want to retain abs and TC I would go with a 12 bolt.
