Default LT4 hotcam/ Supercharger???

I want a simple cam nothing to aggressive but something to add a little to the mix of the blower. The GM hotcam is a lil dated but it is a proven performer.Whats you guy's take on the Vortech/hotcam combo.Only gonna be running 8lbs of boost, wit a good dyno tune.

Details on what you want out of it? For setups like yours I would typically say custom cam, but you really haven't given anybody enough details to advise you.

I know of a few that actually utilize that cam for blower applications and it works well believe it or not

Just get a custom cam, the hot cam is a good low budget intry level cam, since your doshing out your $$ for a vortech you might as well get a cam that would go with it.

Sorry..I'm looking for a quick street car the has very good driving maners.LTX Y-body. A-4 D-36 rear.Gonna run the V-2 vortech/ hotcam. Draging at the track is cool but hard on ya car.Power wise 450-465 is all I want. Stock bottom end and heads.

In your case a hotcam may work pretty nicely. You may also consider the Lingenfelter 211/219. Both have awesome drivability.

It is definitely a pretty good bang for the buck if all you want is a mild cam. Sounds like you got your mind made up. An engine with 8-9 lbs of boost and even a baby cam should have no problem meeting your needs

I would maybe even consider the cc305 which is very similar in size to the hotcam but better and the 114lsa which is wider than the hotcams 112lsa is always good for nitrous or forced induction applications. Comp does make blower specific grinds, thunderracing.com has them.
