i know some people who have had this cam and it sounds smaller in one car than the other. so i did some checking and CompCams has a 07-306-08 and a 07-306-09, but online it sayes no further info aviliable! does anybody know the differance?

 

Not sure on those two part numbers but how a cam sounds all depends on the car. The same cam can sound totally different depending on the exhaust setup, idle rpm, etc.

 

It might be they have a different LSA. 112-110 or ?

Different lsa. I actually just bought a cc306. Great cam.

 

It could be the tune. Ignition timing and idle speed have a huge effect on how nasty a cam sounds.
