Default Intake painting??

so i turns out as we were turning the motor over coolant was spilling out of the number seven spark plug hole. we're assuming its a head gasket. nothing i can do but fix it i suppose. do wish i had the monsy for some afr heads tho.... any way, while its all apart can i get the intake ported to any noticable differance? otherwise i wont bother. also, what do i need to do to effectivly paint the intake? thanks guys

No experience with it but everything I read says no gains will be noticed on a stock motor without Heads and a cam.

I painted mine with some of the paint from Advance Auto parts. Here is a pic. I clear coated it too (A LOT).

CLEAN THE **** OUT OF IT ,I mean wire wheel the hell out off it then take it to the car wash and hit it with the high pressure ,then brake clean or thinner and your ready for paint . Any rattlecan Engine temp paint will work ,clear it if you want it super shiny and I did not primer mine before paint and I haven't had a problem but it probably would not hurt.

Make sure to tape off all machined surfaces. It's easy to do, but tedious work. Use masking tape and a razor blade.
If you want a LT4 type color Ford Red works well.

I agree with this. Also i have herd that if u paint the bottom of the intake white and the top block, it disapaits the heat better witch suppose to make your car run more cooler and efficient. but thats just somehing to think about
