problem worse than imagined

Intake painting?? so i turns out as we were turning the motor over coolant was spilling out of the number seven spark plug hole. we're assuming its a head gasket. nothing i can do but fix it i suppose. do wish i had the monsy for some afr heads tho.... any way, while its all apart can i get the intake ported to any noticable differance? otherwise i wont bother. also, what do i need to do to effectivly paint the intake? thanks guys

CLEAN THE **** OUT OF IT ,I mean wire wheel the hell out off it then take it to the car wash and hit it with the high pressure ,then brake clean or thinner and your ready for paint . Any rattlecan Engine temp paint will work ,clear it if you want it super shiny and I did not primer mine before paint and I haven't had a problem but it probably would not hurt.
