292 Valvetrain
What rockers arms?
What push rods?
What lifters?
And what springs?(i see alot of guys running the new 918's)
Also think i should go with guide plates too?
Also if i want to change to the 847 will all the valvetrain work?
pushrods will be stock 7.2 length unless you have had the heads milled.
new oem or comp lifters
918s are the most common springs to use.
guide plates will be needed if you go non self aligning on the rockers.
Are you aware that Comp's stated rpm range for all their LT1 cams are WAY low, going to have to rev significantly higher and that impacts valvetrain.
My valvetrain recommendations would be start by choosing a different cam. Once you tell us about the rest of the car we can help you make a good choice.
Overcamming is one of the oldest and most enduring hotrodding mistakes and has resulted in a LOT of unhappy owners and underperforming cars.
