I am trying to build an lt1 383 for the street. I want to be able to run pump gas, and i want the horsepower to be 500 or as close as I can to it. I am shooting for a 11 second daily driver street car. I know the bottom end will be fully forged, but I want to port an polished the heads an the intake is this possible, and what else do I need?

 

you dont need 500 rwhp to run 11's. I would say a healthy 383 with some decent flowing heads and a moderately sized cam will easily get there.
