Default best bang for buck

I have a LT1 out of a 94 camaro and would like to make some more power. I am looking for a good "daily driver" probably around 400hp. I already have headers and exhaust.

Budget? Do you like the idea of spray? if youre looking for something to put good times at the strip, cam it and do some suspension, or if its just street fun and youre not worried about hooking from a dig, maybe cam + spray

Do you have a CAI? You should get that if you don't.

I say get all your bolt-ons first. Then I agree with Dwayne cam. But but do you want 400 flywheel or rear wheel horse?

If you have an auto get a good TC. I would also add a cut out for the track and some sub frames.

well it looks like I will most likely put a cam in for now and maybe a small(100hp) shot of N2O, and intake later. what kind of lift can I get out of the stock springs, should I go with new springs too. What cam do you recommend. I am looking to do this for a relatively low amount of $$$ but I would like 400+ at the crank without spray so its legal for the street.

Its going in a 1975 corvette with the T56 the camaro came with.

How much nitrous can I run with the stock bottom end without worrying about blowing up. I realize that nitrous is not gonna help at any amount but I would like a little extra fun at the track. It will be in an LT1 with a T56 and 4.10 gears

150 all day long. I've pushed a stock short block a little.
