it seems like whenever the car is warm/hot and the SES light isnt on yet from the idle stalling, the car falls on its face. i went to test it today and dropped the hammer in 1st and banged 2nd and just spun so it went good, when in 3rd gear today accelerating by rolling into the throttle the tach all of a sudden went back down to 1500rpm from 3500-4000.

what would cause this? opti is 8000 miles old so im ruling that out. fuel filter is new, regulator is new, plugs are new coil is new, ICM is new (autozone). could a bad plug wire cause this and the stalling on idle?
