Question urgent help!!!!!

ok i checked my feul changed the fuel filter and checked spark... and everything i can possiply think of my car still wont start i crank it and it just putters then dies anyone have any ideas it is a 96 z and i dont know what too do

I saw that you complained of a different issue recently. It seems you think your catalytic convertor may be plugged. Did you ever do anything with that?

could be a clog in the oil pick up tube happened to a freing truck he had alot of mile and some sluge cloged the pickup tube

are you getting injector pulse? put a noid light on the injector to see if your getting pulse. next check ignition pules to the spark plugs? do you know if your optispark is good.

yes getting a pulse the car trys to hit but it seems to be out of time ..... that is what it acts like but i pulled my valve covers to check valve timing everything seems to be ok

So replace the coil with your old stock one.

I assume you have already checked all the basics - electrical connections, grounds, etc.

There's 3 things an engine needs to run: air, fuel, and spark. You may be getting all 3, but you are obviously not getting enough of one of them to keep it running.

Air is almost never the problem, so you need to look at fuel and spark. If you have a stock coil, it's easy enough to spend 10 minutes to swap it out.

but thats what i am saying i have done did that .. i know the basic's and stuff but i am new to the lt1 setup .... this has me bogged ... if it were a 3gen i would have done fixed it lmao

Default i figured it out !!!!!!!!

i had to tear the whole front of my engine off but i fixed it ..... it was the rotor button screws backed plum the hell out and that was what it was i have never seen anything like that b4 and i been workin on cars a while
