Default What constitutes needing a bigger TB?

I've been debating this for a while, and can't seem to come to the conclusion as to whether or not I need a larger TB. My mods are in my sig, would I benefit?

i think it would defently help the question is are you gonna use f/i? for the way your car is a 52mm should gain some hp, if you want f/i later on then get the 58 now, cause you will still see a hp gain.

madz28 says that a stock throttle body will flow up too 400hp, i dunno if that is flywheel or RWHP

I would base it on your KPA at wide open throttle. If you are right around 100kpa at wide open throttle and rpm then everything is fine. If you are at say 93kpa then you are leaving horsepower on the table.

Then you need to find out why. Is the restriction the airfilter? Is it the size of the cold air intake? Maybe the throttle body is to small.

It is a measurement of atmospheric pressure. 100kpa is standard at 29.92psi. At idle say depending on the motor the plenum might be at 50kpa. So if your plenum is around 100KPA at wide open throttle that is the best you can do.

At wide open throttle you want the plenum to be as close to atmospheric pressure as possible in a naturally asperated motor.
