steering linkage problem

steering linkage problem hey guys, i need some help getting my steering linkage back on after my pacestter LT install. i've tried everything and i just cant get it back on.
i have always been able to find the help that i needed by searching, which is why i have yet to post. but i cant seem to find anything about re-installing it. so if anyone has any tips on a way to get it back on i'd apprieciate it.

I used a peice of pipe with a rubber stopper on the end of it lined up the steering linkage and tapped it back into place using the pipe and a mallet. also a lil bit of wd 40 helped it go on easier.
