Default Help Hurry!!!

alright well i was coming home today, all excited cuz i have the week off for spring break... and i get about 15 miles from home and i notice that my car just isnt picking up and getting up and going like usual, so i take it easy to get home... and when i finally get into town it seems like im only runnin on about 2 pistons... but anyway... i finally pull off at the high school in our town because i didnt think the car was gonna make it much further, and as i was pulling in i was watching my gauges... well i was watching them the whole time... but as i came to the stop sign right in front of the school, my oil pressure gauge just dropped all the way to 0... and i had to give it a little gas just to be able to coast into the parking lot, and when i did the pressure went up to about 10 psi, but it dropped right back down after i let off the tap of the gas... so i shut it down from there and coasted in the parking lot... but it just seemed like the whole way home that it was almost like a highly clogged fuel filter or something like the way it was picking up, and when i got in town i was lucky to get going in some places... but i have noticed the past few days that when i start the car up that the oil pressure at cold startup has been a litle bit higher than normal... but im not gonna try to start it again because it seemed like it was going to lock up almost, and i do have oil in the car... and checked it before i made the trip home, which is about an hour and 15 min. or so... but does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

like to me it seemed like i basically started losing my ignition, and after that the oil pressure went, but the car didnt sound right exhaust wise, and it just didnt feel right, especially when it got in to town... im guessing cam bearings? or what else could it be? btw, the car is a 94 formula, LT1 with 150k on the motor...

k new news... went back to the school... this has been about an hour since it happened... and went with a friend to tow it to the back of the school to have the auto instructor at the school that im friends with to look at the car tomorrow morning.... so i just try to turn it over really quick to make sure that for some miracle reason it would maybe start right, and it did... i started it and it had like 40 psi oil pressure, but it began dropping quickly... but it was a very short trip to the back of the school... and the only thing was that it still ran very doggy, and there seemed to be some sort of whine that i could hear, but only when i pushed on the gas... and it almost sounded like a vacuum leak or something like that, and didnt sound like a spun bearing or anything like that... now my guesses are either bad fuel pump, oil pump, and maybe the opti... but i have had oil pressure problems anyway, but not to this point, so i think its time that a new pump goes in it anyway.. but lend me your suggestions
my suggestion right now is drive it off a cliff, but i dont have any around here so that wont work

well that sounds like part of the problem, but is there some sort of limp mode that would basically make the car run like a dog because of lack of oil pressure? and, the whole time the pressure was at 0 and low and all that, the low oil or check engine lights never came on... so i dunno what to think...

well as far as i could tell the car wasnt blowing black smoke... it was dark, but id say i could still be able to see black smoke... but i did find out today by taking the car to the auto class at my old high school that they said i have misfires in cylinders 2 and 3...and considering that i changed plugs and wires not even a month ago, this sounds like a bad deal... but what could be some of the problems associated with misfires in cylinders?
they didnt have time to check into it further because they dismissed early cuz of the snow coming, but they are gonna look more monday
