Still not sure if we should paint the rear bumper silver or leave it blue.

What do you guys think?

You might want to start with black at the top of the bumper and black out your tails. Then put silver on the bottom of the bumper. Just make sure it flows.

A few after wet the haze has cleared. The hood is not done yet but about half polished

Wow maybe I should have looked at the pictures closer, thats not black its blue **** I am color blind.

looks like black with a blue flake. 8 years of pondering, its nice to see something you imagined come together properly. i guess you're not repainting the blue? just going over it?

Thanks!

It took me a long time to figure it al out and even when we were masking it of trying to cut the lins so they complimented the curves of the newer body. the black is a cary over from our generation cars to tie in the old and the new. The Black and the silver are covered with the same blue pearl that is in the Quasar blue from the factory. It really pops on the black when you hit it with the right light giving it that inverted goast effect.

At night when you are out cruising the car will mostly look lik it always did(Very dark) and pop really hard when hit with head lights.

I can't wait to get it all done but it is still a few weeks off . we still have the bumpers to do and a few other projects in between.

Why not leave the bumper blue to start with, throw it on and see how it looks, then repaint it if you decide that's what you'd like to do? Anyway man, looks like its coming along very nicely.

Haha, I am color blind. I thought that was black and never would have known the difference until someone said something.

If you stay true to the color scheme, then the bumper should be silver.
