Default Setup Questions

So im doing a "cam only" setup on the replacement motor im putting into my formula and have a few questions. First off the setup

Crane Gold 1.6 rrs
Miezere electric waterpump
cc503: (224/230 .535/.544 112lsa) w/ 1.6RR's
Crane 10308 valve spring kit
Pacesetter Longtubes and true dual(should be soon)
Progear Timing set
Polished Stock tb
ASP underdrive pullies
3.42 gears
M6

First question is will the crane valvespring kit work properly with the rockers and cc503? Should I be able to get away using stock length pushrods without issue? Idea on numbers or times this should net me?

Stock length pushrods are the right size, Id add a set of hardened pushrods 7.2" to the list. Id expect around 340-350rwhp.

Everything looks good! As said you can get hardened pushrods for like $50 and its cheap insurance.

Well back with another question.

Which valve springs/kit will work best for this setup and what seats/locks/retainers will I need. I know alot of people run the comp 918s but heard about they're qc problems as of late and it scares me. WAs thinking the 10308 kit but was told to get the metal seats but not too sure where to look. Im looking for about $300 for it all.

^^^Please don't put a capital letter at the beginning of every word! Makes it so difficult to read.

Verz, get the one piece pushrods.

The PAC1218 is the same as the Comp 918. If I remember correctly Pac used to make the 918 for Comp but then Comp cheaped out and started getting a Mexico company to manufacture the 918 and thats when people started having problems with them.

Thanks guys, I just wasnt sure if the PAC spring were a direct fit, but was told they were so assuming the same locks/retainers/seats for the 918s will work with these aswell?

I ran the 10308 kit with my 503 and 1.6RRs and never had a problem. I loved that setup.
