Default Hello Guys

Hello guys I am new to posting on the forurums, but I have been reading them for awhile. I have a couple of quick questions.
I have a 96 TA Lt1 and I blew the head gasket and possibly cracked a head.
I was told on the LT1 the motor has to come out to get the heads off is that true? and also I thought about getting the lt4 heads and intake is it true that will bump up to 430hp? or would i be better off just doing some work to the stock heads if they are ok? thanks guys hope to keep talking to you

The entire top end of the motor will come off the car no problems without pulling the motor. Ported stock heads and intake will do you just fine matched with the right cam.

Lloyd Elliott offers some good packages that will get you up that 430+ mark. I hope this link works. It's a video of a LT1 with the LT4 package. Bad *** car.
