So from what i have heard hypertech programmers suck. Is there a good one?

Tunercat software if you want to do it yourself.

otherwise, pay someone else to tune it.

You can either go LT1Edit or Tunercats for software
Get a cable to connect your laptop to your ecu
then pay somebody (PCM4Less, MadZ28, etc) to make you a file

or get a hypertech

all depends on what your wanting to tune

yeah they do great work.

You can't satisfy everyone, but both of the major mail order tuners (pcmforless and madz) both have overwhelmingly positive reviews.
