Default My new exhaust...

Well I bought my Camaro a little over a month ago with alot of mods already done - 383, headers, cat delete, SLP LM1, 4.10's, suspension mods, etc.....Well like most on here know, the SLP with no cat and headers = LOUD! But not just loud, it sounded like a damn truck IMO, and I hated it! So I took it first thing this morning and had that changed. There is still no cat, and the SLP resonator is still in place(like it actually does anything). What we did is continued with mandrel bent 3" stainless over the axle into a 3" in/out Borla muffler, and more mandrel bent 3" for a single tailpipe with a turndown on the end. Its all tucked up under the car and neither the muffler or the tailpipe are visible unless you look for them. It basically looks like a stock V6 exhaust, just bigger. As for the sound....at idle its quiet with just enough of an audible lope from the cam to make you wonder. At part throttle and WOT it is just loud enough, no where near as much as the SLP, and sounds pretty nasty IMO. I definately like it, dont think Ill be changing it again for awhile. And the best part is it only cost me $100 bucks! The muffler is used, but is still in great shape, still looks new. The mandrel pipe is sections of takeoff systems from new vehicles that he saves. All in all, a great setup for a great price. And to think we were going to put a Flowmaster on it until he remembered he had the Borla muffler sitting around.
