P1351 Due To Delteq
P1351 Due To Delteq I installed a Delteq ignition setup this week on my 96 Trans Am. The opti that is in the car has 12k miles on it (delco) and it seems that the cam sensor is good and just the cap when bad. Anyway I installed the Delteq setup and the misfire problem went away and the car runs great. But is turns the mil lamp on. It has a P1351 Ignition Control (IC) circuit high voltage. I believe this is either due to the fact that the coil wiring is not used (open) or the way the Delteq module works. Anyone else run into this problem? I tryed contacting Delteq but he has not returned my emails and his voicemail is full.
Bad Delteq Controller Broke out the old DMM and here is what i found. No problems in Factory PCM to ICM wiring and No problems from Delteq ICM to Northstar ICM. But the Module has an open. The is infinite resistance between Connector B pin B and Connector C pin E. The wiring diagram is overly simple and just show some sort of resistor in that circuit.
So I guess my question is where can I get a New Delteq module. From what I hear the gentleman that own the company is in the hospitail and there are very few parts around. or does anyone know the resistance of that circuit and I might be able to build a external jumper harness with a reister in it.
