I would suggest that you do some searching/reading on here. all depends on what you have and what you want out of it.

There is a local hot cam car running mid to low 12's
http://www.fquick.com/videos/viewvideo.php?id=569
I think another cracked 11's with some minor weight reduction years back no head work. Everybody on the forums bash this cam like crazy but with a good tune and stall runs faster than the most popular h/c setup. I would run this cam in a daily driver in an instant. Tulsa has horrible Da too. usally 2,000 feet

The cc503 is pretty nice cam. Nice idle and lots of mid range and great throttle response

If you don't plan to ever do heads then get the 503.

As said above you should check out the cam sticky and some other cam threads. There are some other factors. Is it a daily driver or weekend warrior? Reliability? Etc. Im not sure on the 305 specs but the 503 is the biggest cam u can use on stock heads. If you were to use a cc503 you should also invest in some headers, a good free flowing exhaust, cold air intake, maybe a tb, a tune, and depending on tranny a clutch or a stall, gears. All factors you need to figure in. The gm hot cam makes some pretty good numbers and alot of ppl use it with good results. I would also suggest a set of valve springs regardless of the cam you use and some good pushrods.

Sponsors on the right side of the page carry the cams. Speed Inc, Byunspeed, Etc.

ya its kinda tricky to get the hang of. but your pretty much on the right track with the cams you mentioned but with the spray your running i believe your gonna want less overlap (someone correct me if im wrong) i think that thats what most nitrous cams have different on them. you can also call the company you get your cam from and talk about what may be best for your setup they can do custom grind cams specific to your setup.

Well, if you're not going to be doing any highway driving, you don't really have to worry about picking too close of a gear ratio. You could probably even go with 4.10's, for a little extra acceleration.

Here's a couple links to where you can buy the different cams:
