What to do?

Default What to do?

Long story short: Doign stuff to my car.

should i go intake manifold/throttle body
or 3.73's and 2500 stall

i have a CAI running no cats

I did cai, headers & exhaust, stall then gears. A throttle body would be a waste for you, as would a 2500 stall. A 2500 stall will be just a big old restalled stocker. Get at least a 9.5" 3000 stall and you'll also get the benefit of lsoing some rotating mass.

Off topic* I just got this lt1 crate motor put in not to long ago and was wondering what do they put down stock?

I was asking because just with my CAI and no cats i am keeping up with a stock LS1. not sure if my motor was a FF or is this normal?

It's 275hp and I believe 335trq. With headers and a few other goodies you should stick w/ if not beat a stock LS1. I rec doing all the " free mods " and then bolt ons. To answer your question about which way to go, I would do the stall and gears for sure. A bigger T.B. won't give you much of a gain. 3.73 gears are great on A4 transmissions. I just put 3.73's on my custom built A4 and it pulls hard!

Headers and cat-back exhaust. As said, 2500 is basically stock, so useless. Get a PCM tune after you get the headers and exhaust You should notice quite a bit of a change after all that.

3.73's man i just put them in not to long ago and they are the BIGGEST diffrence ever i love them , headers are great to but def go 3.73's
