I have to stick with what I said earlier if it is indeed bad pressure then save for the build and don't drive it. If you haven't heard any knock yet thats a good thing you can literally just turn the crank and recondition the rods add new bearings and re-ring it at that point. Sounds like you want a dependable dd and that is fine to do like that and will accept mild to moderate mods in the future. It is definitely the cheapest way to go and costs are going to be high unless you can do alot of the labor minus the machining yourself. If you do so this way and can do the majority of the work , like R&R the motor you can have it all done for like $1500.00 thats all consumables, such as gaskets water/coolant and oil, new timing set, water pump and opti plus the parts needed to do what I said above and machining.Add a grand to have a shop do it all you supplying the parts.
