Bad News well my brothers 96 z28 has was having some trouble with the steering it was making a screeching noise when we turned on the ac so we go and get a new compressor and and that other **** for it and today we lifted it up and got to looking at it coolant was leaking out of the front of the block we couldn't figure out where it was coming from until i my dad put the flash light on the exhaust where the y meets up the the cat back and we saw coolant dripping out it and we just looked at each other. the car only has 79 thousand miles on it so its either a blown head gasket or the block is cracked either way its bullshit.
Just a part of maintenance... Things happen with the life span of any motor, some things are regular and expected, others no so much...
Just get it done and move on!

ouch!! i would just look around a little more before i put the blame on the head gaskets. maybe the heater hoses are leaking and its just running down the manifold all the way to the connection where you saw it?? hopefully! but like he said^ fix her and move on.
