dod retrofit Any one look into a displacement on demand retrofit on an lt1. fairly simple system of collaping lifters and shutting down injectors. supposed to realy help out on road trip MPG. a few co workers have claimed fairly high freeway MPG. 27mpg v8 silverado high 30's v8 montecarlo SS. [Confused]
A LOT more too this than just shutting down a couple injectors and collapsing lifters, not going to happen. Though really good tuning can make a world of difference I mean lots of time spent dialing it in yourself.
This idea is no better than your Flex fuel one E85 is a horrible idea(dies not save fossil fuel use and is WORSE for the environment) and OPEC is NOT the problem, investors on THIS SIDE of the Atlantic are OPEC wants oil prices lower to discourage alternative developement. But what does reality have to do with anything.
