Transmission or gears?

When my car hits 3rd gear/drive it seems like it doesnt accelorate as fast as it does in 1st and 2nd.I know its not going to be the same,but it just seems like it bogs down.Doesnt matter if im at the track or just driving it on the street.I have my motor check out and it not that.I didnt know if it would be my transmission or if it was my gears I have (3.23).

its your gears, and at what rpm do you shift into 3rd?

not to mention that your transmission is climbing higher in the gears so that puts more strain on the engine and makes it harder to accelerate as fast.

Go with 4:10 or 3:73 if you want to wake it up. I dont know what your plans are for the car but 3:23 is just a plan old highway gear. I say do some 4:10
