Peak numbers don't bother me at all, I'm more concerned about performance. But when people ask me what kind of power it puts down I want to be able to give them an answer. Yea as i mentioned the guy only revved it to 5200 so when I go to TSP we will pull it to at least 6k and see if it wants to keep climbing or fall off then we can tune WOT off of that.

i would just keep those numbers and go to the track. when people ask what kind of power you make to run 12's like that just tell them 280 rwhp

talk about brain fart. Yea those ratings are just a little off kinda funny how the cc306 is rated at only 5800 as well.

I honestly don't feel I would gain enough to justify the time and money I'd spend on longtubes. Don't get me wrong because when I go 383 for sure it will be stainless longtubes all the way! But for now the Macs flow just fine. They have also been proven to be right on with some LT's so I'll be ok until I start putting closer to 400rwhp down.

The 306 IS rated to fall off at 5800 but I have seen graphs of them going to 6500+ and still pulling.

Longtubes are a Gain/Sacrifice mod. You gain top end but sacrifice low end. On the 503 cam I would stick with the macs.

I just raced an LT1 camaro on my way back from school this morning, and it had a real throaty longtube sound. I put like 1-2 cars on him up til like 40-50 and then he pulled and had about a car on about when we stopped at 90

Rob don't worry about stupid mustang dyno numbers, thats just a bunch of BS. And it won't matter since you don't have your nitrous hooked up yet. There's a 100rwhp gain right there!!! Just sux that the guy didn't pull all the way like you asked. I would have told him umm you better do a full pull if you want me to pay you!

^I agree. If he still said no then tell him to unstrap it and burn rubber out of there.

You'll see much better numbers on a dynojet with a full pull.

Man you went all the way down to roswell for a dyno run? Def post up the results with the nitrous on a dynojet, should be pretty impressive.

I actually didn't drive down there with the intention to get on the dyno. I was down there because a month ago my Mom had surgery by some sports medicine doctor down there and I had to take her back for a follow up. Well while I was there I found out they are filming that show on the Speed Channel named "Pass Time". Well they are taking applications and I had the guy from the dragstrip meet me to give me an application and he informed me of the dyno in town. He went with me to watch the runs and see what my car did.
