Default LT4 hot cam injector sizing?

so i was reading a comparision of the LT1 vs LT4 as i am getting a hot cam put in this week, and i was reading that the LT4 has 26lb/hr injectors as apposed to the 24lb/hr in the LT. and it was saying they upsized them because with the Hot cam it was doing some 120% duty cycle on the 24lb/hr injectors so i was wondering since i have an LT1 and im going with the hot cam will i need bigger injectors? i know that the LT4 actually has bigger valves and a different intake and i didnt know if thats the reason they uped the injectors or if the cam itself requires new injectors. please any help would be great thanks guys. and the only other mods i have right now are ASP UD pullies and a SLP CAI.

just for my own knowledge im not doubting you but why would they put the 26lb/hr's in the LT4 then? is it because of the bigger valves and larger intake manifold?

Few thoughts:

1) The LT4 engines didn't have the LT4 hotcam. They had the "regular" LT4 camshaft. Most people get this confused, but it's understandable.

2) Not exactly sure why they used 26# injectors, but the LT4's had the different heads and intake (like you said), which might account for it.

3) Keep in mind that the factory LT1 programming has the 1994-1997 24# injectors rated at 24.91#. Also keep in mind that factory 1993 LT1's used 22# injectors.

But yes, assuming your car is a 1994-1997, you'll be fine with stock injectors. I ran the hotcam (+ all boltons) for a few years on the factory fuel system without any problems, and I know many others have as well.

OK COOL THAT WAS EXACTLY THE ANSWER I WAS LOOKING FOR. AND WHAT KINDA NUMBERS DID YOU PUT DOWN WITH FULL BOLT ON'S AND THE CAM? ASSUMING STOCK HEADS.
