sbc in trans am

has anybody ever put a carbed sbc in a 93-97 f body and if so how hard is it

which part??electrical-no idea, mechanically I think they share the same mounts.anyone know?

will i have to change my headers out and my motor mounts as well

Headers and mounts will fit a Gen 1 SBC. Do you actually have a complete running LT1 now and are replacing with a carbed motor?

Here's my friend's 95 Z28 with a GEN I 396 SBC / TH400 combo running 11.1 @ 119 on motor. It was the first time he took it to the track with the new setup in it. It was going up towards the bumper (with the 10 bolt) and it scared him. When it launched he accidently yanked second right as it went up. He ran the rest of the pass in 2nd and 3rd banging the limiter. The car should be going mid 9s with the bottle and 9 inch going in the car.
