LT1-LT4 conversion kit?
GM no longer has the intake available to offer the kit ahyway.
As has been said you do not want it anyway. A decade ago it may have been an OK choice, today it would have to be considered a BIG mistake.
Advanced Induction can port stock heads and offer a matching cam that will make as much RWHP at the LT4 kit can offer flywheels and do so for similar money.
That said there are a lot of mods needed before heads and cam should be considered. Most folks inexperianced enough to think this is a good kit do not have the supporting mods so are not ready anyway.

LT4 conversion < Ported Stock heads with a matched cam...and no GM doesn't offer the kit anymore as already said, they no longer make the intakes, only way to get the LT4 junk is the GM LT4 heads, and Edlebrock LT4 Intake with the GM LT4 Hotcam....just spend the money and make more power with ported stockers

A friend of mine stuck the LT4 top end kit on his 94 vette several years ago. I think he ended up with 350ish to the wheels. I tried to talk him in to something a little more stout but he just wanted some more power without the big looping idle and constant shaking.
Why woudn't he regret it? Lots of other guys have. Though more seem to convince themselves mediocre results for the investment are great. it is just a tiny minority that have them worked over at substantial extra cost and actually have them work.

thanks for the input guys. It was for my buddy. He has a LT1 vette, maybe 93 not sure. He wants something that will give it more go go but sound stock and has great driveability. I told him for sure to get the trans redone and get a stall. Just wasn't sure about the heads and cam stuff for LT1's. Guess not too much different than the Ls1's. Would the factory optispark work ok with a heads and cam LT1 or should he get rid of that crap and get the stand alone system for the ignition??? If so you all know where I can find that system at??? Thanks.

Hes got a V8...not a honda
As long as he doesnt over cam his car etc, he will still have good all around power for a street setup. Just make sure he explains to the place he will be geting the cam and head work done what he is looking for

eaither way you go, you can make more power out of a lt4.

Granted you can make more power with ported stockers as opposed to stock lt4 ones but in the long run if you plan on doing more work then the lt4 stuff would work out better IMO.
Thats why i didnt do anything major to my engine yet, sooo many diff. ways to go!

93 LT1's Does anyone know what the difference is between a 93 LT1 and 94-97 LT1's?
just wondering cuz they have different 93 lt1 throttle bodies seperate from 94-97 throttlebodies and other things, and the LT4 kit says it's only for 94-97 LT1's. I'm new to 4th gens, because I own 5 3rd gens and know every inch of those.
Current daily driver.
Green 93' Formula 6-speed LT1 Bone stock except 3" custom exaust,
90,000 miles
