Hooker LT Header install question
Hooker LT Header install question I got my driver side header on, but now the passenger side will be hitting the frame when we let the motor down (it is jacked up off the motor mount about an inch or 2. When we tried putting the back header bolt in when the motor was down the holes wouldn't line up and the header needed to go down about 1/8 of an inch because it was hitting the frame. What do you do? We're thinking about bolting the header up and just letting it down (maybe bending the header pipe just a tiny bit???) Any help appreciated.
I just put my Hooker headers in, I took off the heat shild and jack the car like 4 feet in the air, LOL. the header slid right in. it took more time to put the heat shild back in that it took me to put the header in.
