Electric Water pump history
Hello All,
I just recently installed an Electric Water Pump on the LT1 which is a Daily driver.
What I want to know is how they fail.. Do they freeze up and blow the fuse or has anyone had one fail somehow inside and not blow the fuse?
Obviously the car will get hot real quick if it stops working, I'm just wondering exactly what fails about them. Do the bearings just go out and it makes noise. Etc...
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I've had mine quit because of two different things. First time one of the things on the inside broke where it was soldered, so i pulled it back off and fixed it. Then i had it tear up again by the impeller on the inside coming off and it "freezing" and blowing the fuse.
