which oil pump part# im doing a rebuild,and searched this forum,it talks about not using mellin hv,i saw 2 part# 10554 and 10552 that someone i thought said works good in a lt1,but when i searched on ebay these items popped up,below these items it said not for ls1 and lt1,i need to know what one to use,because i dont want to waste a couple grand and a oil pump wastes it all.im using a zz4 forged crank,pro comp forged rods,and the forged pistons that comes in the summit kit,plus it comes with a oil pump and im sure its a mellin hv55.

The 10552 is a 10% larger volume than stock. The 10554 is a direct stock replacement. They both will work fine with an LT1, the only difference being the that 10552 will require a different (shorter) pickup.

which oil pump are these the m select series,and if i go with the 10552,what part # for the pick up will i need.and thanks,all i will be doing to my engine is forged internals,with complete rebuild.so which of these 2 should i go with,i dont plan on doing no powerr adders.it does have a stall converter,and comp cam.and moroso cold air.

Yes they are the 'Select' series. Which pickup you use depends on the oil pan. I'm not using a stocker so I can't really say for sure, however, a quick call to Melling would probably get you an answer.
