my car has been running like crap for over a month and i havent driven it since then well today i ran codes and found the po300 and po400 egr.
po131 o2 sensor b1 s1 low volts
po134 o2 sensor b1 s1 no activity
i erased the codes and started the vehicle it ran fine at idle then the real test was driving at probably 30% throttle i can hear it missing and sputtering a bit. it is also real rich smelling throught the exhaust. i then went and floored it which in turn took off like dogcrap and then sputtered a bit and just felt sluggish then went rapidly. as i slowed to a stop sign it was back to running like crap still. so i believe it can be the cap/rotor it has 140k but has been changed but that dont mean its good. i even brake tqd a bit and it misses bad so i know its missing bad. what do all of you think bout my codes and bad miss.

my lt runin exacly the same. i also got the p0300 and p0400 thinkin it the opti myself. hope some1 has the answer to it. have a 1 1/2 year old msd opti.

 

lift your car and diconect your o2s then see how it runs. then you could go from there. my buddies 95 formula was doing the same thing we replaced the opti and nothing it turned out it was only the o2s.

If your car has 140K and the opti and o2's are both original, they are both probably due for a change. When my opti went bad, I has a p0336, p0300, backfiring, and stumbling.

P.S. If you need a new opti, get an AC Delco.

 

neither are original the cap/rotor have been changed already and the o2's have both been changed already they have like 5k on them

 

What year is it? I bet you also have a burnt wire or two.

 

definitely sounds like o2 sensors. You have codes for them, and those are the symptoms of bad o2s.

 

yeah buddy c thats y ls1tech is def. the best site ever i disconnected my o2's both front and started the vehicle and it idles and drives fantastically i beat the hell out of it and it feels gr8 looks like time to get new o2's thanks to all and another f body fixed again.
